"Aroma" wins Grand Prix for the 4th time
Last Saturday closed the XI International Exhibition "Moldavian Wines - 2002", it had been organized jointly by "Poliproject Exhibition Ltd" and Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of Republic of Moldova, it took three whole pavilions at "Moldexpo", with net area of 2 thousand meters.
Organization of this exhibition had been aided by 14 countries of the world: Germany, Portugal, Russia, Italy, Sweden, Ukraine, Romania, France, Belgium, Holland etc.
There were received an imposing number of medals: 11 gold, 24 silver, 20 bronze, the head place on Grand Prix was given to: "Basarabia" cognac (age 15 years), it is produced in Chisinau JSC "Aroma" and dry table grape wine "Chardonnay" 1999 - produced at "Carl Reh Winery" LTD, Romania. It must be noticed that "Aroma" (director is Semion Leva) it is awarded Grand Prix for the fourth year, in 2001 this award was received for "Ambasador" cognac (age 40 years) and "Dacia" (25 years).
Out of 40 international companies present at the exhibition, the Swedish concern stood out with its modern winemaking equipment. According to opinion of exhibition participants, concern "Alfa Laval", by means of its representative in Moldova, can become a supplier for equipment renovation on a permanent basis, and growing success of Moldavian wine will rise number of tourists.
