The Joint Stock Company "AROMA", one of the biggest wineries in the Republic of Moldova, have celebrated in 1998 the first centenary of its history. It is situated in the center of the capital of the Republic, Chisinau. During the years, the winery have been known as different names. The present name have appeared in 1983, when the Association of production "AROMA" was created. In January 2000 the winery have received the statute of the Joint Stock Company "AROMA".
Reception and distillation of wine materials for divin (cognac), production and bottling of divin and wine are made in the frame of the Company.

Divin - represents the name, patented in the Republic of Moldova, of "cognac"-like beverages, produced in conformity with the classic technology of cognac production. The technological process has its beginning with the distillation of wine materials obtained from the zone of Codri, from sorts of grape, considered traditional for the production of such types of beverages as: Aligote, Sauvignon, Riesling. The obtained distillates are subject to the maturity on oak barrels of 300 - 500 l capacity in Company's cellars, at a constant temperature and humidity of air. The maturity duration depends on divin mark and oscillates from 3 years (for the mark "Three stars" - "3***") to 40 and more (for those used for the preparation of wine-makers masterpiece "Ambasador AROMA"). The collection of distillates includes samples which have more than 50 years. To obtain a finished product, with characteristics typical for each mark, means to possess a real art, which consists of skilful selection and mixing of distillates from different lots. Wine-making traditions and customs pass from generation to generation during more than 100 years.
At the same time, the Company specialists combine successfully the classic technique with the innovation of modern technology in the production of other strong beverages, such as: brandy, whisky, vodca, rachiu.
The wine-making provides also with processing and bottling of wines. From technical point of view the Company is equipped with a modern equipment of high productivity.
In order to guarantee stability, the wines, within the Cmpany's limits, are filtrated and exposed to a cold or thermal treatment. The bottling is executed with the utilization of one of the best automatic bottling lines from CIS, having a productivity of 12000 bottles per hour. The entire process of the line is computerized. Foremost, the bottles are exposed to an electronic inspection and sterelized with ozone. There are two bottling regimes: thermal or sterile bottling.
The assortment of wines is multiple and includes all the types: dry, semi-dry, dessert, strong, with flavour, etc.
The whole assortment of "AROMA" includes approximately 25 names of divin, brandy, vodca, wines and rachiu. Almost 40% of the produced volume are exported in the countries of CIS, in Baltic Republics and Israel.
The high-quality of the products with the mark "AROMA" has as confirmation 25 gold, silver and bronze medals gained at the most prestigious exhibitions and international tastings.
The divin, the product concentrating the most precious extracts of grapes and wines. The divin is served at a normal temperature in special glasses and it is associated with coffee, fruits, sophisticated products, different kinds of cookies and other.

The Joint-Stock Company "AROMA" has a line of specialized shops, where the buyers have the possibility to acquire products with quality guarantee. Each drink is sold in bottles of different capacities: from 0,05l to 0,7l. For the buyers with more delicate taste there are also different kind of souvenir-sets.
